May- Oh May where did you go?

The month of May has come and gone and boy were we everywhere!  I can’t say that I was proactive enough to dump all the pictures from my camera and load them into this post but I did grab a few from my phone (counts for something, right?).  This month we ran a 5K (family in tow), threw a little big shindig in celebration of mother’s day, watched friends get married, visited the fam in PV, helped seeester look for wedding dresses and watched McKnight Family Farms take off (we have squash, tomatoes and peppers and by goly even a few blooms on my beloved eggplants)!

School has started back for me and Todd is soaking in his last couple of weeks before work takes off again.  We’ve loved our new found free time and are sad that much of it will dissipate with our break in regular schedules coming to a close.  BUT, we do love summer weather (okay maybe not the 97 degree heat that is currently enveloping us) and are finding every possible way to make it to the beach as often as we can.  We’re making trips to Hilton Head, PVB and Destin this summer and Casper the Friendly Ghost (aka me) is very excited.  Toddy is pretty pumped himself- the kid is happy as a lark to sit in his beach chair with any slew of sports or consumer report magazines in hand as we relaxes for 6-12+ hours with sand in-between his toes.  And while we wish we could spend every weekend at the beach we are substituting the pool for our weeks at home.

This weekend we are watching Mr. Cole, aka Mr. Adorable, attending class (boo- sort of, I actually like the subject and I’m a nerd), BBQing with college friends and meeting up with our church’s young adult group for a cookout.  We’re busy, we’re happy and we’re counting down the days to our, oh my goodness, 1 year celebration!

May in Photos!

McKnight Family Farms is growing!  Please note the most amazing farmer in the bottom left corner- I love that boy!!

Coke celebrated its 125th Anniversary with a movie projected onto their headquarters in downtown Atl.  We took in the celebration with a front seat and the Varsity in hand.

We've been loving this part of our house this spring/summer!  The porch has been home to many late nights with friends and family.

Um A-mazing!  Dear God- thank you for unbelievable skills in blessing us with this beautiful creation!  We hope to enjoy this view at least once a month this summer!
